let the cooking begin



My new kitchen ready for many long years of cooking and sharing meals with family and friends.
Already baked that beautiful choc almond cake from earlier post. Needed frosting so used left over vanilla buttercream and cocoa whipped with sour cream....worked a treat. Luscious frosting worth doing again. Sprinkled with milk choc sprinkles and enjoyed for morning tea.

been gone a while.


I have been in hiatus what with organising a new internet connection and moving into our gorgeous new home. I have been cooking lots in the mean time and will post pics and ideas along the way. Looking forward to a merry christmas of great food and friends. Spinning around menu ideas inside my brain and asian inspired crispy duck and baked ham keep resurfacing so stay tuned.
