January cupcakes






The coloured cupcakes I made for a wedding, an Australian girl married a Cambodian man on a boat in Port Fairy. Traditional Cambodian wedding colours used in the icing and it's traditional for icing flowers and green leaves which I made from royal icing and food colouring.

The choc cakes are called black bottomed cupcakes from the Hummingbird bakery in London an intriguing recipe with chocolate cake base topped with vanilla and choc chip cheesecake baked and frosted with cream cheese frosting. The jury is still out on these I think the recipe a great concept but may need a rerun or even some tweaking to come up to a regular appearance at our house. However they looked impressive.
